Watching this video link will support patients to understand that our reception team take a large volume of calls from the public. Not all calls are straight forward asking for an appointment, they are varied and sometimes distressing and challenging to hear and to support the patient after having heard the call so when you feel frustrated about getting through, please just give a thought that the previous call or two may well have been very emotional and/or stressful and the person making the call needed that extra bit of time and help.
