Instead of calling NHS 111 and being on hold there is a quicker way to access NHS111
We will sometimes have to close our same day triage list due to excess demand and to maintain patient and clinical safety. This would be a rare event and our telephone line will tell you if we have done this on a specific day. We do not do this without thought but we do have to maintain a safe service.
