Why is your GP still working differently?

The pandemic is not over. GP practices are open and have been throughout, however to protect everyone, they must maintain safe infection control and minimise necessary physical contact. Since lockdown restrictions eased we have been experiencing unprecedented demand on our services.

The second dose of the COVID vaccination can only be given after 8 weeks unless there is a clear clinical reason for doing so earlier (i.e. awaiting organ transplant surgery)
